Charitable Giving

Rock Voices is committed to making a difference – not just in the lives of our members, but in the communities in which we work, live, and sing. In 2025 alone our members raised more than $172,595 for local charities, and in 2026 we have already raised $79,538 so we are optimistic we’ll break that record – which we’ve done every year thus far!

In each of Rock Voices’ three seasons a year, our choirs each select a charity to invite to their concert. (With three concert seasons per year, and 37 choirs (and growing) that’s more than one hundred nonprofits supported each year!) Choir members reach out to local businesses to obtain donations; some choir members have secured corporate sponsors who match some or all of what’s raised at their concert. A charity representative attends the concert as our guest and speaks about their mission; charity staff run a raffle to raise funds at the concert, and the charity goes home with the money that night.

In addition, throughout the season, choir members organize “sock drives” or participate in a community fundraising event like March of Dimes, or collect food at every rehearsal for the church that hosts their rehearsals or concerts.

We are immensely proud of — and grateful for — the difference our members make in the lives of so many, expanding our mission of “Healing ourselves and others through song”.
