Nick Ambrosino has been working with students of all ages and abilities since 1984. He started his career as a junior high school and high school choir director, growing a forty-seven-member choir to 125 in just six months. In his forty-year career, he has conducted jazz choirs, church choirs, music directed community theater productions, as well as having performed virtually every style of music as a pianist. He has an affection for all things jazz and does most of his performing as both a solo jazz pianist as well as an accompanist to his vocalist wife of thirty-three years. He has performed throughout the tristate area as a keyboardist for wedding bands, pop and jazz bands and tribute bands. In 1988 he started his own private music education company on Long Island working with piano and voice students throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. His degree is in music education and he is the author of two books, Coffee With Ray, and Lessons With Matt about growth and education.
