SUMMER 2026 SEASON “MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES”

ARTWORK CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

We’re launching a contest to design the graphic we’ll use on all publicity for the summer session (including t-shirts) and are encouraging YOU to participate! 

Submissions are due no later than midnight your time on SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2026

PARTICIPATION:

  • Open to Rock Voices members, friends or family (you don’t have to be singing with us now)
  • Fill out and submit applicant information via this form
  • Individual contestants may enter as many times as they wish
  • Submissions must be original content created by the contestant and must contain original artwork ONLY; NO copyrighted material
  • There are no fees associated with entering this contest
  • By entering your artwork in this contest, you are granting Rock Voices exclusive, perpetual license to reproduce images of this artwork on posters, flyers, and other promotional materials for the Rock Voices Summer 2026 season
  • Participation in this contest is deemed as acceptance of these Official Rules

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Artwork must be no larger than 5”(H) x 10”(W) rectangle
  • Your design’s dimensions must hold to a 3:6 ratio (landscape, not portrait) in order for it to fit within the design format of our posters and t-shirts. Your design will stand a much better chance of winning if it fits into this format.
  • Resolution: 600 dpi
  • Submission can be .jpg or .png file BUT the winner must submit a .png or .svg file as the final product
  • Image must be an original creation by the contestant without the use of AI, copyright-protected material, or digital image generation of any kind.
  • Your design must include the theme name “Music From the Movies” as well as the words “Rock Voices Summer 2026”. You can incorporate these words into your design however you like, but they must be displayed prominently and visibly.

ADDITIONAL RULES:

  • If your work is chosen it will be designated as a “work for hire” and become property of Rock Voices
  • If necessary, our design team may request small adjustments or changes to the winning design, and will work with the winner to make sure it’s optimized for printing
  • Rock Voices retains final editing privileges so we can tweak, resize, change a color if needed
  • Rock Voices will retain the rights to this artwork, and the chosen design will become the property of Rock Voices.

PRIZES:

  • Prize: one free membership to any chapter of Rock Voices – winner can use the membership or gift it to someone else, redeemable in 2026 summer or fall season ONLY. The winner also gets their choice of a tote bag or t-shirt with their winning design on it. 
  • Prize cannot be redeemed/exchanged for cash value
  • There will be no additional compensation for the winner
  • Decisions about this contest and the winner will be final and binding
