Leon Grande
Leon Grande has many years of choral directing experience. He holds a Masters Degree in music. He has taught public and private school music for over 40 years, and served as the Coordinator of Fine and Performing Arts in the Dracut Public Schools. During this time, he also coordinated, guest conducted, adjudicated and gave master classes at many music festivals. His groups won many awards. He sang with the Boston Pops and Boston Symphony orchestras for 19 years(Tanglewood Festival Chorus) and appeared on film scores, recordings and international tours. He is currently a church cantor and director of the Dracut Community Chorus. He earned his way through college playing keyboard and singing in rock bands. He is very excited to bring his love of choral directing and love of rock music together.
